True Integration

I was at a meeting yesterday regarding Meadow Lea they're one of our new clients, I must say everyone from the team including their PR and their above the line agency are terrific, we had a very good meeting sharing ideas and thoughts in our respective discipline of how we can get our message across that margarine is a healthier option than butter.

Also there’s 70,000 sunflower and canola seeds in one tub of margarine, it’s a great fact and as Michael Caine would say; ‘Not a lot of people know that’

But someone in the meeting showed me a mailer that I thought was such a great idea it made me go straight to the site, the tone of voice was seamless, ‘so what was the idea Kevin, that got you to tap  in the URL and find out more? Well the idea was for Haagen-Dazs and it was to save the honey bees (apparently honey bees have been declining in recent years as their natural plant life have been destroyed hence no bees) the idea had actually seeds pressed inside the paper while the message spoke about natural honey in our ice cream, let’s save the honey bee, place this ad in your garden, water and hey presto your very own wild flower garden to attract bees.

Not only is this such a wonderful idea it was also done in a way that got me to act as in going to the site to find out more and I wanted the mailer so I could plant and grow some wild flowers (unfortunately I had to give the mailer back) but if anyone has the ad please let me know, my kids would love to plant the ad in the garden.
